Built in a beautiful scenery, at the foot of some imposing pine trees, Cabana Homorod is waiting for you to spend spare time in the middle of the nature. And it’s not just a cliché!
In the nearby woods, the ones who know to walk around quietly can often meat deers, rabbits, foxes and sometimes even boars or bears. It’s a place with natural beauty that hasn’t got ruined by civilization yet, where you can relive moments, feelings and emotions even from childhood.
The cabin can host a total of 14 persons. It has 4 double rooms, bedroom with 6 places, living room with fireplace, kitchen and a toilet. It is fully equipped with everything you may need including electric current, LCD TV, hot water non-stop (electric boiler), fridge, stovetop, oven, microwave, toaster, coffeemaker, etc. Parking place int the yard.
The house also has covered terrace, barbeque and a 700 square feet fish pond where at winter you can ice skate, and at summer you can practice fishing (Catch&Release).
It’s a place that you’re going to call special if you’re going to see it. Not necessarily for accommodation or lux, but for the naturalness and simplicity. A day at the cabin can start off like this: in the morning you’re woken up by birdcall instead of the classic alarm sound of your phone or the much louder car alarm of your neighbour.
You’ll have breakfast on the breezeway, being surrounded by the woods, a fish pond, and a grazing land where a few sheeps or lambs could pass(this instead of 2-3 concretes and a colored glass where news haven’t changed for the past 20 years).
Ok! Now with a filled up belly, drinking a steaming coffee you can figure out what to do next. For instance you can count how many times does the cuckoo sing in the nearby hornbeam.
Or you can try your luck at fishing in the fish pond from the yard with a beer by your side. Another great choice would be visiting the medieval fortresses from the nearby locations(Homorod, Rupea, Cata, Viscri, etc). More experienced fishermen can organize fishing parties with the boat on Olt river.
